Ya gotta eat....
Mar 02…Bryden’s.
Your three intrepid gastronomes have decided to eat their way through
My two cohorts opted for the burger, and I chose the chili. The order was placed around
Bryden’s, first of all, is beginning to show it’s age. Perhaps some of the money they spent on HD plasma TV’s should have been re-allocated to giving the place a cleaning, and patching up the innumerable scars in the faded woodwork. They should at least check the bowls of coffee creamers for wildlife occasionally (ours had a spider in residence).
What Bryden’s optimistically calls “chili”, shouldn’t even be elevated to the status of “meat sauce”. It turned out to be a greasy mixture of ground beef, along with some disintegrated, apologetic vegetables (with, oddly enough, not a single bean of any sort, kidney or otherwise, to be found) complemented by some suspiciously thin “Texas Toast”.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it two coasters
